2022 The Hilt Bentrock Vineyard Chardonnay
New Release
Lime, orange oil, verbena, crème fresh and agave. Fresh baked bread and cooling herbs. A very energetic and vivid vintage. Ripe and generous as always, but it is the inner light that defines this wine. Crisp Fuyu persimmon, cinnamon and mint. Still rather tight and embryonic, pointing towards a long future ahead. Supple and dense but lifted by a feather-like freshness. Seems to be floating. Texturally silky and so consistent in its weight across the palate.
